This is a garage extension for a customer in Bournemouth. The client wanted to extend above the garage to create an extra bedroom in their house. They had already converted the garage to a stunning kitchen, so we had to be very careful when laying the flooring not to drop anything or fall through the ceiling of the kitchen htrough the joists! The whole roof is cut from scratch with timber supplied, complete with a fitch beam as to building regulations. On this job we also constructed stud work walls for an en suite and fitted a fabricated staircase to create an extra space above the bedroom.
